Replacement Cleat for the SRM X-Power Direct Pedal.
The SRM X-Power Direct Pedal is the next step toward optimal cycling efficiency. Its innovative pedal and cleat design reduces stack height and increases the contact surface between shoe and pedal, delivering gains in power efficiency and overall control of the bike. This is done by breaking the tradition of conventional clipless pedal design and increasing the length of the pedal as well as repositioning the cleat screws, to make room for the spindle. As a result, the new cleat can be only 1 mm thin above the spindle, where it counts!
This brings the overall stack height to only 9.7 mm including cleat. The advantages of this 6 mm reduction over a standard stack height are many, and we are only beginning to understand the full potential for efficiency improvements.
